The football Club "Breznica" was founded in 2013 in Pljevlja. Montenegro. The club currently has 400 members both boys and girls, and it is the first female football club ever founded in Pljevlja. The biggest achievements in terms of sports results are wining Montenegro women's football Championship 4 times in the row, which lead to participating at UEFA Champions league qualifications, 3 times as a host.
With regular sports trainings and participation in various local, state and international competitions, equally important activity of all members of the club, athletes and coaches are socially beneficial work and participation in a number of humanitarian projects. Through its activities club promotes gender equality, social inclusion, the right of persons with disabilities, environmental protection, encourage inter-cultural dialogue and regional co-operation and reconciliation and empower the youth to take leadership role in the community.
Club’s goal is to contribute to development of local community and prevent further displacement and marginalization of youth. All club members are provided with opportunities to participate in the recreational and professional sports activities (football), including special needs kids and kids with disabilities, Roma children, and a group of veterans. Club also provides educational opportunities where members can develop their skills and strive to realize full potential, through non formal and informal learning, participation in seminars and workshops, English lessons and mentoring for future coaches.
