Youthmakers Hub (YMH) is involved in several fields, such as education, youth and women empowerment, entrepreneurship, culture, sports, digital innovation, and business, to deliver high-quality services. The activities go along with the Sustainable Development Goals 4, 5, & 17 and lie on three pillars: Africa, Education & Culture. The first pillar has to do with bringing Africa and Europe closer in Higher Education, Civil Society, and Business. Through various EU-funded projects, such as Erasmus+ and Horizon 2020, YMH creates networking and educational opportunities, offers capacity-building services, and empowers organizations and individuals to be more competitive in the global market. The second pillar lies in building the Capacity of Youth (18-35 years old) with the skills needed for the 21st Century, such as soft, digital, and business skills. The third pillar lies in developing cultural projects facilitating cross-cultural exchange as a tool for integration and inclusion. Through its flagship project, WE AfriHug, YMH is recognized for its social impact & acts as a reference point in regards to the joint Africa-Europe partnership. YMH is the contact point in Greece for African HEIs, bringing together Academic & administrative Staff, Researchers, & Students; YMH promotes EU programs & builds the capacity of involved parties to apply & participate in EU opportunities. YMH creates opportunities for youth workers, students, academic & administrative staff from Higher education & Civil society through EU-funded projects. The organization also provides coding & programming courses on an international level. Currently, YMH implements 2 European Solidarity Corps (ESC) projects targeting marginalized youth & helping them to develop digital & entrepreneurial skills. YMH is the dissemination partner of the Horizon 2020 Project AfriConEU, which creates the first Trans-Continental Networking Academy between African & European Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs). YMH has the vision to make young people be the change they want to see in the world and the mission to empower and equip them with the necessary tools and skills for the future. YMH believes in the power of youth, and that is why it invests in them. The leading target group of YMH is Youth (18-35 years old) internationally as the organization is implementing activities in several countries online and offline. YMH has worked with NEETs empowering and transforming them with competencies to become change agents of tomorrow. Moreover, YMH focuses also on students of several fields by providing them with the skills needed for the 21st Century. YMH is active in their local community in Athens, joining forces with local municipalities to empower the community's youth.
