Uşak Okyay Traditional Archery Club and Association- Uşak Okyay Gençlik ve Spor Kulübü Derneği

Uşak Okyay Traditional Archery Club and Association is an association founded in January 2015 to operate in Uşak province in the traditional archery which is a new cultural value that has recently started to be noticed in our country. The main objectives of this association are:
1) To revive, keep alive, live traditional Turkish horseback archery and foot archery, to make youth love our traditional (ancestors’) sports and enjoy their cultural values, to cooperate with the people and organizations active in this field, to introduce the traditional sports and our country in the national and international platforms in the best way, to provide and retain the Turkish-style archery in international competitions, to guide and manage all kinds of youth and sports activities, to train amateur and professional sportsman for youth and sports and to grow young people beneficial to society.
2) To contribute to the development and expansion of the sport at the national level with the awareness of the sport’s function in developing friendship, peace and brotherhood among the individuals.
To educate the sportsmen of the club and to establish infrastructures and social facilities for them to provide more contemporary conditions and facilities,
To participate in private or official competitions, tournaments and organizations in and out of the country.
