Desert Bloom is is an non-profit organization based in Amman - Jordan, dedicated to empowering people to reach their full potential and contribute to the world’s peace and sustainability through Sports. It reinforces global competence and universal morality to gain from growing openness and connectivity while combating inequalities and radicalism. We develop young people's sports skills and competencies, how to use sports as a tool, sports business, social and emotional skills. We promote values of respect, cultural diversity, continuous improvement, and self-confidence to create opportunities for all and advance shared respect for human dignity.
Vision: A just, active, peaceful, healthy,y and inclusive world where people are empowered to actively contribute to sustainable development.
Our Mission: Empowering people through sports and capacity development, Intercultural exposures, and the development of global citizenship competencies.
Our Target groups:
• Young people with fewer opportunities (aged between 18-35 years)
• Marginalized people (from disadvantaged areas and backgrounds, immigrants and refugees)
What we do:
Capacity building of young people
Sports activities , trainings, event , sessions ( specially the young people and the refugees )
Social & Emotional Skills (Transversal/Soft Skills)
Leadership & Management (e.g. Entrepreneurship, Strategy, Change Management, Project Management, Critical Thinking & Problem Solving)
Hard Skills (e.g. Social Media Marketing, Financial Management,IT skills)
Technical & Vocational Training (Technological Skills, Filmmaking, Recycling and Upcycling)
