Birzu lengvosios atletikos sporto klubas (BLASK) was established in 2014 and unites young sportsmen of age 10-25. Even though we are a sport club, our sphere of interest is much wider. We care about the versatile training. The core of our philosophy - understanding that personal development is the key element in the process of personal growing. We want our sportsmen to become independent, strong, educated, patriotic and goal seeking individuals. So, the themes of patriotism, cultural and historical diversity, mutual respect, tolerance, fair play, physical activity, healthy life style, communication and cooperation are actual and interesting for us. Our town is not big (12 thousand inhabitants, www.birzai.lt ), but youth is active and willing to learn and discover new things, so we are ready to be partners in ERASMUS+. Our coaches are experienced and highly qualified.
The main aims are:
1. To promote sport and active lifestyle.
2. To promote the social aspects and societal role of sport.
3. To encourage social inclusion and equal opportunities in sport

BLASK seeks to reach the aims through:
Organization of the sport activities;
Participation in the track and field sport competitions;
Provision of the leisure activities for young people;
Organization of the educational events for the local community;
Organization of the short sport trainings for coaches and teachers.
